Agility Seminar - Pawsitive Kinection

This past weekend took pictures for my friends at Pawsitive Kinection of an agility seminar they were hosting for their students. The seminar was aimed at getting teams ready to enter the trial ring. Events like these are so great at preparing teams for competing, especially if this is their first time entering a trial environment. There’s nothing like introducing a timer or buzzer to make you suddenly forget everything you know!

For many of these dogs it was their first time running on a larger course out doors and the handlers got to practice specific agility games with a “judge” and a timer - all things that have the potential to make you flustered! I was also a major distraction as I sat ringside taking photos. Most of the dogs gave me at least a sideways glance when they realized there was someone lurking in the shadows… a great learning opportunity all around for both dogs and humans!

Good luck to all of those competing in a few weeks!

Here are some of my favorite shots from the day.
